Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC provides warranty coverage for products purchased through our website (https://heavydutypartscompany.com).

Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC offers a TWO (2) year limited warranty on all of our automotive products.

Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC offers a ONE (1) year limited warranty on our heavy duty diesel cylinder heads for road use.

Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC offers a NINETY (90) day limited warranty on performance items, industrial, commercial and marine products. Items are guaranteed to be free of defects for 90 days after the date of purchase.

If a core is not returned within 60 days, the warranty is void.

 

WARRANTY COVERAGE

We offer a warranty that protects against defects in materials, manufacturing, and craftsmanship. If a defect of this nature is discovered, a warranty claim will generally be approved. The warranty period for any replaced or repaired product will continue for the duration of the original warranty.

 

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE

This warranty does not apply to racing applications, damage, deterioration, or malfunctions resulting from alterations, modifications, improper use, abuse, misuse, fire, accidents, neglect, vandalism, excessive heat, improper operation, lightning, or other natural events. Furthermore, damages due to incorrect installation, unauthorized repairs, or any other issues unrelated to material or workmanship defects are not covered.

  • Loss or Theft: This warranty does not cover products that are lost or stolen.
  • Product Obsolescence: We do not guarantee that our products will remain compatible with other products or technologies indefinitely.
  • Unauthorized Repairs: Any repairs not authorized by us will void the warranty.
  • ECM Reports: Warranty claims may be voided based on the findings of an Engine Control Module (ECM) report.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Damage resulting from improper installation, overheating, abuse, or neglect.

  • Loss of time, labor costs, vehicle downtime, phone calls, inconvenience, or any consequential charges.

  • Fluids, towing costs, rental vehicles, or diagnostic expenses.

  • Any repairs performed without prior authorization—such repairs will void all warranties.

 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS WARRANTY?

This warranty applies to the original buyer of the product.

 

HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us via email at sales@heavydutypartscompany.com. Be prepared to provide a detailed explanation of the issue. We may request additional proof, such as videos, photos, or a detailed description. If the issue is validated, we will open a warranty claim with the product’s manufacturer and supply you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The defective product must then be shipped to the manufacturer for inspection.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The liability of Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product. All legal disputes will be settled through arbitration. Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC, along with its CEO, staff, affiliates, and associates, shall not be held responsible for any direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from a breach of warranty or any other legal theory. Certain states may not permit the exclusion or limitation of some damages; however, within the bounds of this policy, these limitations or exclusions will apply.

 

RELEASE OF CLAIMS

By agreeing to this warranty policy, you fully indemnify and release Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC, its CEO, staff, employees, shareholders, directors, partners, retailers, consultants, affiliates, and any other associated entities from all claims, liabilities, suits, demands, or damages arising from your use of our products, services, website, or communications.

 

GENERAL TERMS

This warranty policy represents the complete agreement between you and Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC. All previous agreements and representations are void, except for cases of fraudulent misrepresentation. By purchasing our products, you agree to abide by these warranty terms. Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC reserves the right to amend, delete, or alter these terms without prior notice. Any changes to the warranty must be authorized in writing by Heavy Duty Parts and Company LLC. If any term is found to be illegal or unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in effect.

Return Policy

RETURN POLICY

At Heavy Duty Parts Company, we strive to ensure that every part you purchase meets your expectations and serves your needs effectively. However, we understand that there may be occasions when a part needs to be returned. 30-Day Return Window

We offer a 30-day return period starting from the date on your invoice. During this time, if you decide that the part is not suitable for your needs, you can return it for a refund. To qualify for a return, the part must remain unused, unopened and uninstalled, as this helps us maintain the highest standards of quality for all our customers.

 

Inspection and Condition Requirements

Upon receiving the returned part, our team will perform a thorough inspection to ensure it is free from any signs of damage or installation. Parts that are scratched, dented, or show signs of wear cannot be accepted for return, as they can no longer be resold as new. If the part is verified to be in its original condition, we will proceed with processing your refund.

 

Refund Details

Once the part has been inspected and approved, a refund will be issued for the cost of the part itself. Please note that any shipping charges associated with the original purchase will not be refunded. This policy allows us to offer prompt and fair refunds for parts while maintaining our competitive pricing and efficient operations.

 

Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee applies to all cylinder head returns. A 40% restocking fee applies to all parts and accessories returns. This fee helps offset the costs associated with inspecting, restocking, and reprocessing returned items. We understand that a restocking fee can be a concern, but it allows us to manage our inventory effectively and continue providing quality parts at competitive prices for all customers. We will also deduct the freight costs incurred getting the returned parts back from the refund issued.

 

Return Authorization

Before sending any part back, customers must contact Heavy Duty Parts Company to obtain a return authorization number. This step is essential for ensuring that your return is processed efficiently. Our customer service team will provide you with the necessary instructions and information for completing your return. This number helps our warehouse team track and manage returned items accurately, ensuring your refund is processed without unnecessary delays.

We recommend retaining all original packaging and documentation when you receive your part, as it can help with the inspection process should a return be necessary. Core Return Policy (Effective 12/17/2025)

 

  • Cores must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.

  • If a core is not returned within 60 days, the warranty is void.

  • Unreturned cores will be charged as follows:

    • Heads under $600: $200 per unreturned core

    • Heads $600 and up: $400 per unreturned core

Extensions

Customers may contact Heavy Duty Parts Company to request an extension if additional time is needed to return a core. Approved extensions will prevent core charges from being applied.

Core Return Process

Cylinder heads are shipped with prepaid core return labels included in packets attached to the outside of each box. If return labels are missing, customers should contact us for replacements before returning the core.

Core Requirements

Some cylinder heads do not require a core return. In certain situations, core requirements may be waived at our discretion.
